1. Yes, I strongly agree that it is purely scare tactics. The red flag as you had mentioned is :-

"Not sure if the lady is trying to scare me into buying her products, as I was told to spend thousands of dollars on fengshui items after that."

2. Based on the info you had provided; there is sufficent wood; more than fire element. And in the thousands of Ba Zi that I had looked thru all these while; there are many who have more zeros to their elements not withstanding just only "Metal".

3. In my opinion, you have met a con artist.
