Myspouse and Ijust sold our HDB flat recently. The first appointment falls on 10 September this year. I did a check on the tool for auspicious date and realised that 10 September is a very inauspicious date for both of us.

My question is: Is it important for us to get an auspicious date for our 1st appointment for ths sale of our flat, given that it is a session for paper work?

1. Frankly, all these depends on the individual, especially for those seeking advise from their own "elderly" family members.

2. Many in the past has done paperwork or even placed a deposit on a new home (condo).

3. As your first appointment is only paper transaction, purely this is acceptable and not physical entry or ownership of the home as yet.

4. Personally I feel that it is acceptable. Anyway, 19 September 2009 is the start of the Chinese 8th lunar month.
