Dear Sir,

I just relocated my work desk. However, directly above my work desk is a concrete beam. Under Fengshui, overhead beam is a taboo as it can cause "sha qi", that can cause ill effect; both health and careerto the person sitting below over time.

I got to know thisfengshui website andhave searched for fengshui advice and cures. The traditional cure for concrete overhead beam is hanging of wooden flutes. However, mine is an office and it would be in appropriate for me to hangflutes on the beam, install a false ceiling or paint the beam which are common ways to fix overhead beam.

As such, i wish to seek advice to see whether is there any simpler way to fix overhead concrete beam other than those mentioned earlier. Will placing a potted plant at the work desk helps? If yes, what type of potted plant will be more suitable. Please kindly advise.

Hope to hearing the valuable advice from you soon.

Thanks and Regards,

Desmond

The most less obvious method is to draw a small thin red line the line is the size of a thin red string or even a string directly above your head + shoulders will do.

This is best method available: as the red line represent fire element to "melt" or destroy the concrete beam. Other than this, other methods are even more obvious.
