This is a very popular plant in many homes both landed and high-rise.

It likes sunlight: either direct or partial shade; moderate water and low maintenance. It's palm leaves renew slowly..

One of the easiest to maintain.

When the Yellow cane palm is grown on the ground and not in pots, it can grow relatively tall. Usually around 8 to 12 feet high.

This is one of most popular cane trees ground all over in Singapore: Be it in pots or garden landscaping of condominiums, government housing estates etc..

Easy to maintain (leaves don't fall of so frequently). Only thing is that as it is a cane, it does not only have one single tree trunk but clusters of stems that span out...

1. I was amazed at how the yellow cane palm, had grown in just 11 over years!

2. I could recall; around 11 years ago, when this Admiralty Drive HDB estate was completed.

3. The yellow cane palm were just "babies" at that time.

4. Nature is indeed very remarkable! As usually the Yellow cane palm grow side-wards much like many other palm or bamboo trees. But this one, grows like a "Tree".

5. For one, I cannot imagine that these trees can grow so tall! Wow! Simply amazing!

6. Sometimes; it is good to look at and admire the beautiful birds and trees! Of course, try not to mimic Jack Neo's past adventure of not just looking at birds; and many reports say he tried to touch them also! The other kind of "young girls". Hahhaha!
