Hi Lee,

I have a lovely room at 5th floor room 501. Is a corner of the building and I can see both roads.

One noticeable in my room is the window which is curved shape.

I would like to ask if it will bring a good chi or not. Do I need to use chimes?

I removed my bed near the door because I saw at the forum that its not a good position, so I brought it near the window now. Attached is the image of my arrangement of my bed and study table.

Many thanks for your suggestion!

These are some of the considerations:-

1. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, your bed layout is in-line with the shape of the interior in relation to the walls, bed-head area; windows and main door. Thus this is generally a good layout plan.

2. At 5th storeys high there is no major concern of sha qi from the physical point of view. At ground floor; the concern has more to do with "wandering vehicles" i.e. vehicles that could "slam" into the buidling e.g. road accident or high speed out of control vehicles.

3. Thus, strictly from the Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, a gentle curved window seems "majestic" and makes the entire home bright from both sides i.e. large facing direction.

4. As for a wind chime; if there is no street lamp that slice into or thru the window, no issue from Shapes and Forms view. Since we are not into Flying Star Feng Shui; can't confirm whether a wind chime should be used at that sector or area.
