Posted May 12, 201015 yr Hi I am looking at a property which is on land shaped as a right-angled trapeezoid. (see attached) The front of the property is the non-pointed part and the back is the point. Is this classified as a trapezoid or a triangle lot and is it too difficult to remedy? There are many such properties in my area. Thank you, Claudine
Posted May 12, 201015 yr Staff These are some considerations:-1. Your question is too (too) general.2. For example, see attachment. There is a difference if your home's frontage is at B, C, D or E.3. Other considerations include how the water drains from the home out of the home premises.4. Any water position e.g. large canal behind the home or if the home is facing a T-junction etc...5. There are frankly too many unanswered questions.6. Equally important is the top-view or helicopter view of outline of the whole house and whether the home is squarish /rectagular or same trapeezoid outline of walls.7. Frankly, in such a "state"; might as well flip a coin: Heads (auspicious) Tails (inauspicious) or vice-versa = anybody's guess.Claudine E. wrote:HiI am looking at a property which is on land shaped as a right-angled trapeezoid.
