House at L shape. Please help!

Hello, I've recently noticed
that my current house (where
I've lived for about 1 and 1/2
years now) is at an L shaped
curve. The on coming traffic
(red arrow) hits half of my
house. If a car were to
go straight to my house, it
would hit my living room,
then my bedroom. The
front door is right next to the
living room. What i can do to
help the feng shui of my
house? My mom placed a
small, regular mirror outside
the window of the living
room that a car heading
straight would hit. She's
trying to reflect the bad
energy. Does that help at all?
