?Toilet seat in one of our bathrooms is directly under a big beam. I have noticed that it is not very comfortable to use it. There is also no way to construct a false ceiling. Can you suggest any cures for it.

In many countries, constructing a false ceiling using gypsium board material is a simple solution.
Since you said no way to construct a false ceiling; then what? saw away the beam?
Frankly,it is not like one is sitting under this beam 24 hrs / 7 days a year sort of thing?
Such things are like some of the past messages that I had posted:-
For example: Can you suggest any other way for all my 8 family members to sit in my saloon car? What the heck? after 5 members squeeze into the car, tie one family member on the roof? and another on the bonnet and the other place in the boot?
Any suggestions? Go get a 8 seater MPV!
