I live in a period 6 apartment. I have a water star #8 in the central palace,a #1 water star in the facing palace. I have a large body of moving water (canal) in front my apartment, and the the facing direction of the apartmentis west. I live on the 4th floor and look down on the waterI am in the west group Gua #2. Is my flat over activated with water? Should I just activate the #8 with my aquarium and use something else to activate the #1? I currently have a buddha fountain on the #1. Thank you for your insight.

In my opinion, it is better to activate a water position at the frontage of the apartment;

Since there is already a large body of moving water in your apartment; actually, whether water flowing left to right or right to left have a bearing to the apartment.

Plus whether it is flowing parallel to the home (apartment block) or "slicing" it also matters.

If the water flow is correct, (this needs some investigation) then an additional water feature at your water #1 star location may not be necessary. Thus it depends.

activating a water feature at the central palace depends also. As sometimes a water position at the central palace is akin to the iching concept of water = difficulty. And sometimes a water postion at the central palace is trapped or causes "difficulty".
