I read somewhere that having a inverted trident in the windows design or on the top of the door is considered a poison arrow. Is this true. Thanks.

Yes, some practioners consider this a poison arrow especially if it is above the bedroom door. The result is that it will affect the marriage e.g. separation or divorce.
