Dear Cecil,
I ran a comparison report between myself and a person I am dating. The report shows that we have a heaven stem and earth branch clash between our day pillars. What does it mean and is it really bad?

1. Frankly, it depends.
2. Thus the clash is dependant on what elements (which of the Five elements) clash with what element.
