Hello, I am doing a tapestry to hang above my bed. It is of a plum blossom branch and I would like to put some saying in Feng Shui symbols in it. What can you sugest would be the best. i had thought maybe something like " a good life,or peaceful dreams but any other you think might be appropriate would be welcome. Thank you marie

1. Under symbolism, in Feng Shui, some geomancers felt that placing "living" things in the bedroom is not a good idea.
2. To them, "living things" including plants and flowers are considered yang.
3. And a bedroom is for rest = more yin condition.
4. Thus some geomancers are not in favour of having even a bouquet of flowers in the bedroom.
5. The above is based strictly on the idea of symbolism.
6. As there are three kinds of luck:-
6.1 Heaven luck (born with - Ba Zi)
6.2 Earth Luck (Feng Shui)
6.3 Human or man luck factors (own feelings)
6.4 all three equally divided gives 33.3 percent each of luck.
7. Some of us, perhaps, yourself feel very good about having such a bright coloured knitted item in your bedroom. If you feel great about it; this is generally fine as it comes more under Human or man luck factors.
8. For example, some people, don't have good ba zi; neither do they have good or excellent Feng Shui; but they have dynamism in the form of good Human or man luck factors.
9. Somethings for a family, bringing the family to a sunday brunch or meal is far better than the best Feng Shui money could buy...
10. Thus, if you feel happy with certain wordings.. there is no such thing as inappropriateness. Go ahead if it makes your day! What counts is having a good feeling and not rely too much on outsider's comments...
