Im a mosaic artist, making mirrors and such with broken glass and found objects. My question is whether or not the broken glass is ok to have laying out on a desk, should it be in a container or does it not matter. Also, I'd like to know what you think about mosaic mirrors and the best way to use them.
I live in a sm. apt. and recently had my work desk in the wealth area of my main space. My bf has been having trouble finging work so I though maybe if I move some stuff around our luck would change. Hope it works.

These are some considerations:
1. From a symbolism point of view; many geomancers would often say that it is considered inauspicious to have "broken glass".
2. A few years ago, a client of mine nearly wanted to install a creative piece of two pieces of acrylic with broken glass sandwiched in-between. But, as a Chinese, on her own, she felt uncomfortable having such a piece in her home.
3. Under symbolism and a belief or conception, thus, it is considered inauspicious.
4. From a common sense approach, some again feel unease if broken glass is lying around.. for both humans especially children and pets like dogs who might just swallow them... I know this is not "possible" given that one most likely have considered safety in mind.
5. Thus, if you are handling or creating objects with broken glass; just give geomancy or "Feng Shui" a miss, here. Any co-relation with it (Feng Shui) is not advantages.
6. Fortunately, if you are in the west as opposed to in the Far East, I believe you stand a stronger chance of selling your products.
