I have to choose between two office cubicles at work in 2 days and I
need help in selecting which one to get. One office cubicle has a big
column or pillar right next to the wall panel of the cubicle that when I sit down in front of my desk, I could see the column that goes up to the ceiling behind the wall panel, but this cubicle has
good privacy.
The second choice is a office cubicle workspace where
the entrance to the cubicle is at the end of a corridor or is directly
facing the main walk path for foot traffic from all the workers inside
the office. There will be no privacy. Everyone walking on this
main path could see directly inside the cubicle or office because the front entrance of the cubicle is directly straight and open to the main path way.
I know both choices are not that good, but I don't have a choice. I must pick one in 2 days. Please help with your recommendation. Thank you very much in advance.

In my opinion, based on the Holy trinity of luck: two of the luck factors are: Feng Shui (Earth Luck) and Human factor.
Here, as you had mentioned, the Human factor wins hands down for the above.
Many offices use rounded columns if so, there should not be an issue. and often due to false ceiling; it is also a no issue as these false ceiling and not often the support beam.
For a rectangular or square column then the edge of the column isa threat. But if one has a cubicle partition, again, this is often a non issue; unless the column is behind one's seat and the corner if any aimed at one's work desk.
