Dear Mr. Lee,
It seems that I and my husband has no luck from the past 6 months so I decided to re-arrange our room (see attached new layout). Please let me know if this looks okay and will bring us luck.

In my opinion, what you penned and asking to look into it; can onlybe based on pure and simple: Trial and Error.
In Compass School Feng Shui, there is such a thing as the compass direction in relation to the layout. And another one of Compass School Feng Shui is about best bed-head direction. Another Compass School is about Flying star numbers.
I am afraid, everything that I wrote in BLUE is non-existent. Here, unfortunately, you have to go on your Trial and Error adventure.
