With Simplified Chinese, the characters has reduced the number of character strokes. So would this impact our Chinese name? So does our Chinese name follow traditional strokes or simplified stroke?

I need advice from Geomancer expert.

I am from the traditional Chinese character generation but recent years Chinese characters has been change to simplified Chinese.

So now I have been puzzling, in my time the Feng Shui name were calculated using traditional Chinese character number of strokes.

With simplified Chinese, the characters has reduced the number of character strokes.

So would this impact our Chinese name?

Should we re-evaluate again our Chinese name based on the new simplified key stroke?

Using bazi 5 element calculation, will the name in simplified or traditional be affect?

So does our Chinese name follow traditional strokes or simplified strokes?

1. This is not under the field of Feng Shui. Feng Shui is about earth luck.

2. No issues if your name was correctly selected based on traditional strokes. And if it is revised to simplfied strokes. But it name strokes were selected without reference to traditional then this is a different story.

3. All name strokes must be based on traditional big five.
As in ancient times, there is no such thing as simplified. Simplified is new.

1. Case Study: Traditional Chinese Name is selected, then convert the chosen name into Simplified Chinese.

1.1. A Chinese name is chosen using traditional Chinese strokes.

1.2. After selecting the name, the correct Pinyin English name and the traditional Chinese name can be accurately converted into simplified Chinese characters.

1.3. The reverse is not true.

2. Case Study of a Baby Name Service where some Feng Shui Master stumble with Traditional Chinese Name strokes. If so, the name would be wrong. And the child may have to live with this wrong name for the rest of his/her life!

1. The new client sought out Master Robert Lee for an additional perspective. [2nd Opinion]
2. In the previous FSM analysis, discrepancies were found in his bazi naming report.

3. Thanks a lot, Robert. You have been very helpful and approachable, and learned quite a few things from you.

4. Will recommend my friends and relatives to you... do you also do home feng shui audit as well as is it done more by Cecil.

  • Robert Lee changed the title to with simplify Chinese, the characters has reduced the number of character strokes. So would this impact our Chinese name? So does our Chinese name follow traditional strokes or simplified stroke?

This is the new norm today in Singapore.

Many Singapore Feng Shui Masters with lineages are themselves a Product Store.
