Is it inauspicious to start a new job in the 7th lunar month?
If it is ok to start work, then what are the auspicious dates to do so?
Thank you.

In my opinion, the 7th month thing is up to individuals.
The major concern are situations where:
1. One becomes the owner of a new / resale home and goes in on the first time. Some are either supertitious or want to play safe and not open the door as inadvertenly allowing a "curious" entity to follow them into their new home. This sort of thing.
2. Maybe once in a blue moon, I receive a request for an advice on new job go to work in 7th month.
3. Frankly, unless your job is very interesting; no "entity" would be bothered to dress up and follow a person to work even in the 7th month. So far, have not heard of any ill effects of such thing.
4. Maybe move in to new office.. but frankly, not that crucial thus not a main issue.

Thank you for the reply.
I noted from some internet sources that there are certain days in a lunar month termed as "San Niang Sha" days that are rather inauspicious days to do anything (move hse, renovation, wedding, start job etc), is it true?
