1. In Feng Shui, it is considered inauspicious for the main entrance door to face the dining table.

3.1. Although many living in a condo, don't often leave their main entrance door ajar or opened (fully). If so, many don't feel nice eating and a neighbour pass-by. If so, some may "politely" say hi to their neighbour(s) or cordially "invite" them for dinner.
3.2. Often, we get to see a dining table piled up with "tons" of items : more like a rubbish heap in a visitor's eyes. Thus, when someone walks in the first impression of the house will be the dining table. And if it is an eye-sore... then considered "inauspicious".
