I have been praying to a gold plated Kuan Yin statue for many years, it is coated with ashes now and in grey color. The Kuan Yin statue has been blessed by the Kuan Yin Temple at Bugis street. Should I send to re-gold plate or paintthe Kuan Yin statue back into gold color? If yes, where should I go?

Frankly, the ideal choice (if possible) is "If it ain't "broken" don't fix it".
If unsure, should always keep it as it is even if it has become greyish i.e. Do nothing.... is the best!
