I'd like to contribute my experience with plants. I'm crazy about them... I have dozens of houseplants at any time. I think as a weak Fire, I like to keep them around me to nurture my Fire.
Anyway... last year I was living in a small apartment which is known as a "studio" meaning it's all one room except for a separate bathroom. Naturally I had my plants. I remember that I would have the worst time getting to sleep. I would toss and turn until 1:00 in the morning, often after trying every natural sleep aid I could find.
Now that I have bought my own home, I keep my plants in their own area. No plants in my bedroom and I sleep much much better.
Then I found Geomancy.com and what do they recommend but to keep plants out of the bedroom. Interesting. :o)

Dear Joe,
Thanks for sharing your personal information about plants.
So far this year, there was one user here who did the Pillars and House Chart.
Unfortunately, the House Chart is not good. In addition, the staircase is in the middle, the swimming pool is at the back. When you open the front entrance door, it faces the door of the bedroom.
Toilets are also located wrongly.
I really had no choice (after thinking very hard) but in the end had to advise user to place a single potted plant in the bedroom. The user has got too much water in many of her Pillars. Therefore, the plant would help to exhaust her water element.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Try having an Artificial Sunlight at the plants. I know it may make one corner a little bright but YOU WILL WAKE UP REFRESHED!
