hello Robert and Cecil,
i would like to offer compliments. you have a great web site offering excellent content. its focused and comprehensive and distinguished in the field.
in the english speaking world, your services are one of the best i have seen.
I understand you are offering a commercial service, concurrently you also make available informative services to a very large audience, which is excellent.
I feel saddened that there are those western modern stylists who claim to practice fengshui. browsing the online sites of these con-artists, they are mere fronts for hawking goods at crazy prices. i am only curious of how to drive these bad elements out, as they are degrading a very well practiced tradition and cultural asset.
best regards,
scott

Dear Scott,
Thanks for sharing with all of us, your personal views on this matter.
The first thing that strikes my mind is the motto for Discovery Channel's endangered species:
"If the buying stops, the killing can".
We can draw a parallel, to the current situation with such "FS practises".
"If the GREED stops, the buying can".
But at last, unfortunately, these people prey on our "GREED" to succeed and also portray a certain mystic of buying such commercial products".
As the saying goes: "There will always be fools, to fill many shoes!"
Personally, a single web-site is like a `drop' in the ocean.
And unfortunately, the sale of products are simply too great a profit to miss that in my opinion 9 out of 10 Feng Shui websites "will already be corrupted" by the huge profits to be gained. Here, many practitioners, in my opinion would not twitch an eye to sell us all sorts of stuff - some even incompatible with our culture!
Looks like, it is a losing battle:(
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
