Posted September 28, 201311 yr Hi Master,If one's maternal grandmother pass away, does the wedding need to be conducted within 100 days or postpones to 3 years later?I have checked various sources which mostly mentioned these only affected to one's parents, only a few mentioned that this taboo affected to grandparents as well.I would like to seek your professional advice.Thanks

Nowadays; some are quite lax with the interpretation; especially in the context thatthat specific grandmother(was) not staying with them. Thus take it as more "distant".But traditionally; yourfirst statement shouldbe the correct "interpretation" and includes the grand-parent.
