Posted March 12, 201411 yr Hi, I purchased the premium report and still having trouble with understanding my career/industry with my element. I work in Aerospace & Defense industry...currently working as a embedded software engineer. Please clarify the element associated with it as well as the meaning behind it. I guess the embedded software engineer is Metal/water both and the industry is fire for defense and metal for aerospace? thanks,George
Posted March 12, 201411 yr Staff These are some considerations: 1. For example, a CEO. He can be in-charge of many departments e.g. Accounting & Finance (metal), Marketing and Sales (Fire), Public Relations (Fire). 2. But ultimately his main CORE function is to GROW the company = Wood element. 3. So, other the industry that you are in; what are your core skills? You have ask yourself. What is your main or chief function. For example if you are suppose to develop a software or fine-tune it or make it work; then most likely "programming" or water element. 3.1. If you are there to SELL software then Fire element. 4. Nowadays, what it means that the industry one is in; may not be purely what are your core areas. So what value are you to your company? Of course, everyone can do a little of this and that. But what is the CORE?
