The polls are from www.pollit.com. A third party site providing polling facilities.
As far as can understand, anyone participating in the polls merely click on the buttons and no email account is submitted when one participates in the poll.
Only those who create an account with www.pollit.com to manage it will come under their privacy terms. I have personally created an account to post polls.
For more assurance, one can go to www.pollit.com to have a look at their site.
So far, I believe, that www.pollit.com maintains users privacy. There are no complains on it. There are equally other polling sites and I believe most of them have to provide privacy else, they would not be able to function or incur the warth. If anyone has reviewed a better poll site, do let us know.
It is my sincere hope that adding polls to the forum will add a further dimension in better understanding Feng Shui. It allows everyone to participate in them.

Thank you for clarifying the privacy issue it is important to me since I don't want
to be flooded with junk mail and due to the
the threat of the Y2toU virus I want to be safe than sorry.
And I do agree with you that polls are very beneficial for learning feng shui. Its a great idea and makes the site more interesting and great source of learning feng shui.

Thanks for your understanding. I am equally concerned of privacy issues. This is why we believe in continuing to allow users here to use the anonymous feature of the forum.
I have always kept the information in the forum private.
The polls will certainly add interactivity in the forum and all polls are subject to privacy considerations.
Do expect to find a Fourth Generation site, which we are working on, for next year also.
