August 15, 20178 yr Author Staff Low crime does not mean NO crime. In Katong.. we experience high crime.. literally at our doorsteps... Quite scary that I live within this cluster of red "X"es. Where the red "X"es were the approximate locations that these "Housebreaking" signs were placed quite recently. Note: This area is entitled "landed-property" cum private apartments zone. Below: X marks the actual location of the sign:- Which is at the T-junction of DUKU Road with Joo Chiat Road. Low crime does not mean no crime. Why is this unheard off in another estate: Serangoon Gardens? And even Paya Lebar? All these crimes happen within the year 2017.
