Posted July 7, 20178 yr Staff These two differing methods serve the same purpose: 1. Passive markers: These wafer thin circular cats eyes because of it's reflective properties coupled with yellow warnings, in my opinion is the way forward. 2. Contrast it with these black protruding lights that bulge out. And their placement could cause someone such as a young child running around to fall and hit their face on the floor. 2.1. These lights needs to be turned on. It does not have light sensors so does not turn on in the event that it is pouring or the sky turned dark... in the day-time. 2.2. These lights do fail: short or blown.. and may need replacement. 3. Architects and landscape planners should play their part.... 4. The cats eye:- Or the bulky floor lights? Which you prefer?
