Buddha altar table placement

Hi Master, 

I would like to seek your advise in the placement for the altar at my new home. The place I have in mind is the one positioned at A, but understood from other threads that you would advise deities like Guan Gong for main door positioning instead. Could you please advise where is a suitable place that I can place the altar table? I am only intending to put a Buddha figurine.
