November 22, 20186 yr Author Staff To me, this is quite a new feature found in a passenger lift. that of "DOOr HOLD" for Loading/Unloading where .. pressing the DOOR HOLD button can result in extending the closing time of a lift for 3 minutes....for anotheer three minutes ... Advantages for some.. an irritation for those waiting for a lift.. hmm Low crime does not mean no crime:
