If this was 1966, The plot of Twin Vew would have been the source of Sungei (River) Pandan:

And West Coast Village would have been 8 o’clock to Twin Vew’s South west direction.

And Kampong S. Pandan is at Twin Vew’s 6 ‘o’clock or South.

At that time, the railway is just directly above PARC Riveria.

Thus this would account for this area’s liveliness.

Case Study: It is always good to do readings from the sales brochure site plan and compare this with the streetdirectory map.

For brand new developments, it is always good to determine the compass directions from as many sources and possible. Unfortunately, the next best thing is a streetdirectory.

1. Based on the sales brochures the Flying Star Feng Shui is calculated and found to be either NE2 or SW2 and/or N3 or S3 facing stacks/units

Below: Please be advised to avoid using the Sales Brochure of Twin Vew as the North compass marking is NOT ACCURATE:-

2. However, we take alook at the streetdirectory map; Block 91 is a pure North-South 0/360 to 180 degrees direction:

2.1. Thus, for stacks/units in block 91, it has to be either N2 or S2 facing. NOT N3 or S3. (Although technically N2-N3 plus S2-S3 shares the same Flying Star templates).

3. Thus even more so that Block 93's compass degrees in the streetmap will differ from the sales brochure.

3.1 For Block 93, the compass readings based on streetmap is either NE1 = 25 degrees or SW1 = 205 degrees. A world of difference from the NE2/SW2 readings.

4. In the meantime, it is recommended to use the readings found on the street directory.com, first.

Note: When T.O.P. it is always best to go down on-site to do a further confirmation.

Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, it is less than ideal to have the WC so close to the main door even if it is separated by a wall.

And also be careful of the following (if any):-

 

Knowledge of where the facilities are prior to booking an apartment in a new development:

1. Selecting low storeys :

1.1. Close-by to dining or barbeque areas = smell / smoke during when these alfrescos or dining areas are occupied

1.2. Don't like noise? Then avoid a unit close to the water jets or jacuzzi's (if any)

1.3. Clubhouse toilets and function areas and other areas that may hold parties

2. Bin Centre / Electrical sub-station / Generator set or genset 

2.1. A unit where the shops are directly below this area. Hygiene and sometimes rubbish bins with ants etc...

3. facing a guardroom or "busy service " road such as a drop-off point.

Others:
Herb garden - for show only. Usually up-keep is good for the first few years. When the condo turns 10 years or more... this could disappear. Anyway, as all condos are required to do weekly fogging.. don't ever dream of plucking the herbs for cooking. Yuks!

Twin Vew sits on virgin land.

To the Northwest is the old Pasir Panjang. To the west is Pandan / Teban.

And to the South is West Coast ..

Hi Master, May I know which stacks, Stack 6 (S2 facing) or Stack 9 (SW1 facing) is better for east group person in period 9 ( for long term stay , so need to decide on period 9)?

As you mentioned the North of the siteplan  is not accurate, how do we draw the drawing as the kitchen for stack 6 seems to be at NW sector of house.

 

For Southwest facing house, i read in one of your pages that is good in period 8 and the effects greatly diminish in period 9? Is this theory based on flying stars? or based on the facing of the house?

 

Greatly appreciate some insights.

It is not rocket science to check on the kitchen compass degrees. Anyone who is 18 years and above should be able to do so. If cannot, approach the next family member or friends, or the next or next.
