Posted July 22, 20187 yr Staff Eunos Market & Hawker Centre was burned down and rebuilt in the past. Trivia: Do you know that other than Geylang Serai Food Centre, Eunos Hawker Centre has the 2nd most non-Chinese stalls in Singapore. Over-heard one lady staying in Eunos Crescent that there were really few if any good food stalls in the Eunos Market & Hawker Centre. Most likely, her taste was for Chinese food. She commented that she missed many stalls located at the Marine Crescent market and Food centre which was closed till next year for refurbrishment. We lined up at the few popular "Hand made Fish Ball stall" as shown in the Blue arrow: Green arrow shows a popular roti prata store. Their roti prata gravy is thick and flavourful. The stall below in RED arrow also popular for their roti prata. Plus if you are shopping for a unit at Parc Esta, can try their authentic mee goreng which still have bits of meat, green chillies, and green beans.. Roughly at the Yellow arrow is a stall that still sells their "$2 nasi lemark = try their crispy ikan billis and tasteful sambal chilli that goes with it. Not too sweet.. just nice. Cannot say much else for other stalls which are just so so.
July 23, 20187 yr Author Staff Handmade fishball noodles. They made their fishballs within the stall every operating days. Once sold out, usually by 1pm; the stall is closed. Their speciality is a half-piece of Tau-pok filled with fishball meat. Location as shown in the first thread as a blue arrow. Can request for extra spicy...like what I always do... $3/- standard or $4/- large. This was the $3/- flat rice noodles. My usual thin noodles sold out at12pm today. Another visit to the stall. Their special is half a tau-Pok stuffed with fish cake $4/- mee pok, spicy plus if we add the small red chillies... great! A simple comfort food:-
July 23, 20187 yr Author Staff Ali Baba as shown by the earlier green arrow. Their prata gravy is thick. They do sell mee goreng. But not my first choice for mee goreng.
July 23, 20187 yr Author Staff Epok Epok Central closed today. Location as shown roughly by the yellow arrow Reopened on another day. A simple $2/- nasi lemak meal Their chilli is just right (Malaysian style) well balanced not too sweet and “light”. Key to this stall’s nasi lemak. Looks spicy.. but really none at all..
July 23, 20187 yr Author Staff Nothing exceptional...acceptable...but not Everyday food. As the gravy is often sweet... Not marked on my photo... close-by (on the opposite lane of the red arrow) Their mee goreng also so so.
August 21, 20187 yr Author Staff This Brani stall used to be popular. Won many awards...apologies for the poor photo... And often by 2pm or latest 2pm = sold out. The other day, even at 6pm.. still open. The seller said nowadays poor business. Most likely many nowadays go shopping at Malls and at the same time have their meal there. Unfortunately, it so happens that the rice that day was soggy.. unappealing ... + the achar bland...hmmm..The chicken however is moist and the saving grace. Try their mutton... though.. melt in the mouth.

July 4, 20223 yr Author Staff There are three stalls selling this at Eunos Market and FC. $5/-. I prefer their early morning $2/- Nasi Lemark…
November 29, 20222 yr Author Staff Eng Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice Newer stall, but very popular. Prices are reasonable. And reasonable quality. Too popular therefore… most likely stopped selling porridge to concentrate on Chicken rice.
July 5, 20232 yr Author Staff On Hari Raya Haji 2023, majority of stalls closed, no choice, ate from here. Around $3.60. Poor quality rice. chilli is so so. Only the Otak is slightly better. As it does show bits of fish. Unlike some other otak which are mostly flour. This was one of the youngest stalls. Not more than 4 years old. As this premises was once a Fried Carrot cake stall
July 10, 20232 yr Author Staff Source & Credit: Stall #01-08 $5,555.00 Rental As of 8 August 2023, still not occupied. The vacant stall to the left of Epok Epok Central
August 9, 20232 yr Author Staff At Block 7, HONG Lee coffeeshop beside the market $5 value for money. As decent amount of ingredients. Generous self-help sauces and chin-Cha Lok, peanuts etc.. Not as good as the famous Hwa Heng … but probably above average.
