Getting keys soon and can't wait to view the house for the 1st time.  Can we open the door the 1st time during 7th month or avoid 7th month?  Is 27 June 2022 a good day to visit the new house for the 1st time? What should we bring?

YES OR NO?

Frankly, this topic is highly subjective. Of course, for majority (Chinese), they try to refrain from going into a "new home" during the 7th month. 

However, there are circumstances where some have no choice but to go in, start renovations and move-in as early as possible. For example, some have already sold their previous home, and no more extension left to stay in their existing home, no other family member's home to turn to, also.

Alternatively, recently with the COVID19, some contractors have difficulty in keeping up have constraints and may have no choice but to delay the renovations. 

Given all these circumstances if one has smart ideas of wanting to camp out at say: East Coast Park or West Coast Park or Punggol Park or Sembawang Park or any other Park would be met with free meals and stay at famous places like Changi (Prison) Hotel!

But for some who have the luxury of continuing staying with parents, I am sure, they will not forcefully chase their child + family during this "vulnerable" period.

FRANKLY, ONE HAS TO DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES, THIS.
