Where to place Plants (esp. pointy leaves)

Featured Replies

My husband loves pointy leaved plants and has a few he wants to be brought into the house. Currently, they are in our greenhouse, but I'm reluctant to bring them in.  Is there area, where a large spikey leaved plant would work well? There are no thrones, but the leaves are thin and pointy. "spikey"

In my opinion, pointy-leaved plants are more about symbolism than actual Feng Shui.

For example, some people feel that pointed objects and plants are inauspicious. Since pointed rooflines in a neighborhood are considered unlucky by some, they often connect this idea to pointy plants as well.

As mentioned, Feng Shui does not focus on details like pointy-leaved plants.

Concerns about children or toddlers accidentally injuring their eyes on hard, pointed leaves like those of the Snake Eyes plant are not related to Feng Shui. The same goes for energetic dogs that might get hurt.

Honestly, if these concerns don’t bother you, feel free to have pointy-leaved plants.
