One entire block with stacks #01 to #03 and the side wall of #08 will be soaked in afternoon sun.

For#01 to #03 one can say that it is a "direct hit!" all year round. Thus no running away from afternoon sun especially towards the living room / bedrooms...

Is the afternoon sun bad?

Sometimes this is based more on Common sense. But again, many seem to point the finger (or rather everything) is Feng Shui!
