Posted January 20, 20205 yr Staff My personal aversion to glass table tops stems from several factors. 1. This is primarily due to its incompatibility with porcelain, mugs, and glass materials. 2. The sound produced when these items come into contact with the glass surface is unappealing, regardless of how carefully they are placed on the table. 3. Additionally, using a plastic surface protector detracts from the aesthetic, as it becomes unsightly with the bubbles that form on its surface. Frequently, the surface area becomes adhesive [sticky] as a result of the plastic covering.
