Yes, Nice-to do so. 

Another point to note is that Feng Shui is about the Earth luck or the location one spends time at.

Thus there are instances where a parent ropes in a family member e.g. grandmother to come over to their house in the day to look after their baby. And if evidently the baby sleeps partial time in such a room or living room, then may not need to consider THEM.

Feng Shui judgement calls are not cast in stone. Evaluation is based on such common sense.
