If this roof line (in red) directly cuts into this "opening", yes it is considered as a Sha Qi or poison arrow:-

Further to the above:

1. The roof line Sha Qi or poison arrow must be parallel to the actual unit.

2. Thru an opening such as a window or balcony opening, as shown under this example:-

3. The roof line does not impact unit #01 or #03. 

3.1. Thus even if one stands at say an opening in unit #03 and can see the roof line; it is not a Sha Qi for both units #01 and #03.
