Hi I would like to check my flat is above and all window facing parallel to TPE expressway with nearby nursing home and worship place. Is it good to stay there?

Is it true that a house next to expressway is generally not favorable?

1. This is personal. Frankly, for me, I will AVOID like the plague a home that is noisy. For example, there were cases where a client went for viewing or viewings on say a SUNDAY morning or afternoon. And after purchased, did not realise that their unit is so "bloody" noisy during all other weekdays. 

2. You stay there we don't. So some are okay.. but some have sensitive ears.. etc..   "to each their own".

3. Unfortunately, even if a unit has good Feng Shui.. but have white noise; can affect the whole family - feel as they stay there and some cannot even open their windows.. or even if windows closed; may be noisy.

4. Feng Shui  is thus only about Earth Luck. But Human Luck e.g. if throughout the day affected by traffic noise.. erh.. GOOD LUCK! No one can divert the flow of traffic on an Expressway. LOL  

I agree with you on the noise aspect. I also cannot stand noisy house and prefer a quiet environment.
