In my opinion, what you mentioned is purely psychological. And not a common practice. 2. This is because every flooring or ceiling slab is poured with concrete; and to ensure the floor integrity, reinforcing metal mesh bar has to be embedded into the flooring to make it strong and able to support a certain weight. . 3. Thus logically it makes no sense to add the "silver" wire as it is both thin and minuscule. While the entire unit flooring is already covered by a "carpet" of fine wire mesh!
