In my pair of Fu dogs, the male has the globe under his left paw and the female has a cub under her right paw.

Can these be used at the entrance to our home? If so, how should they be placed?

In general, the Fu dogs were considered as protectors of entrances and front gates. Thus, some have use it or continue to guard places.
