When calcualting personal Feng Shui, if I was born in 1967 at 1:42 PM CST, do I use a different year calculation and GMT for the time?

Dear Jay,
1. The main important point here is to maintain consistency.
2. What is consistency?
The reason why we take much much `pain and effort' to use a common standard under Geomancy.net is for the above purpose: To maintain consistency.
3. It looks impressive to have GMT included in e.g. an analysis.
4. Under the real world condition, garbage in, garbage out:
4.1 How many of us can take the trouble to find the exact longititude and latitude of our home e.g. when doing an analysis using the Flying Star.
4.2 What happens if we use the incorrect input?
4.3 Next, under Pillars of Destiny, if GMT is again included, on what basis do we take the GMT from? Some of us may be born somewhere and do we take the place of birth etc...?
4.4. If we look at all the above, the chances are you no longer get `accuracy' for most of us.
5. What we have done is to use the Five elements concept in all our analysis and use the Lunar Calendar method.
6. In addition, from our many analysis done, it so happens that Singapore is on the same time zone as Beijing, the Capital of China.
7. Some people use the perceived timezone based on GMT, many countries have changed their time zone.
If you look at all these issues, why make things more complicated and using different base. Here, it is `like' comparing an apple with an orange.
8. I always believe in simple yet effective methods to help people with a very strong emphasis on Applied Feng Shui. (Not merely text book Feng Shui).
Warmest Regards,
Cecil

I am so glad this topic was brought up. Cecil, I understand what you are saying in regards to using local standard time for Pillars of Destiny and Feng Shui calculations? But I'm completely lost when I try to follow inauspicious/auspicious days for my true element. I live in Los Angeles, U.S. (Pacific Standard Time) and when I look at your real-time forecast it is for the day ahead. So today is March 9th and your forecast is for March 10. Is today really a "rabbit" day instead of a "tiger" day for Los Angeles? Or do I just use the forecast for March 9th?
