What makes this bus shelter unique is its combination of low granite seating and upright stainless steel frame seating.

Above: low seats are paired with tall stainless steel benches. Surprisingly, these benches are quite comfortable because they have a backrest, offering helpful support while you wait for the bus, especially for shorter periods.

One of the best functional bus shelters : Everything seems right!

Large overhanging roof that makes it more comfortable to enter and exit buses.
Wide seats that are fully sheltered from the rain, with good ventilation and no rainwater spilling into the bus shelter.
The sides of the bus shelter also have rain- and wind-proof panels.

Bus Stop at Outram Park in the 1980’s. it has a sundry kiosk attached to the bus shelter. Where there is opportunity to sell some sundry items to those who are waiting for bus to arrive.

Calling out to all designers who do public works and to the MPs who bother to check. Bus stop seats dont make so slanted. I know the purpose may be not to encourage people put things on top but people are educated lah. We just want to put our food on them to rest our hands when no one else need the seats. Who wants to put edible stuff on the floor? Your clients and MPs? Im sure they don't want too. You made the seats so slant nothing can stay there, even our butts, for long. But dont come dismantle n redo again. You had just recently done it only when the residents were asking among ourselves what was wrong with the old ones which worked perfectly fine.
