Hi,

I have been following many of your interesting discussions. Thank you for sharing. We live in Switzerland and we are moving into a rented apartment soon and the attached is the layout. The entrance is at the flying star 9,9 sector. However, I am concern with the open kitchen side wall slicing into the main door. I would like to place a modern light metal open book shelve i.e, see -through, with decorative pieces), 1.8m height, 50 cm width  . Do you think an open book shelve is a good idea.

Thank you for your advice in advance.

So sorry, I re-read your comments many times but unable to fully comprehend what you say?

I assume the front/main door is the red arrow.

A?  Kitchen side wall slicing?

B? Want a partition shelf?

All above nothing to do with C?

Dear Master Lee,

Thank you for your response to the above, I truely value your time and input. I apologize for the lack of clarity in my previous message. I have reattached the layout in hopes that it is clearer this time.

I also overlooked mentioning the wardrobe wall that you rightly pointed out—thank you for catching that. I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly review the updated layout and share your advice and comments.

As mentioned earlier, I plan to place a light metallic bookshelf frame with metal shelves in the indicated area (exactly! due to kitchen wall slicing the passage way to main entrance) . The shelves will display decorative items, so while the structure is mostly see-through, it will have some visual obstruction due to the objects placed on it.

Thank you again for your time and guidance.

Warm regards,

SHANNG

Thank you.

In my view, opting for a metal bookcase divider is a possibility; however, it is not mandatory.
