I read in the one the messages posted on the forum that the user had hanged a broom outside the main door and also in one of the sectors. Curious to know what was the reason behind it. Thanks.

So far, I have not come across such a message in this forum.
Brooms are considered inauspicious objects and should not be hung outside the main door.
The only questions, I remembered users posting was when one should not sweep the floor (i.e. especially on Chinese New Year day)
