I know little about feng shui. I do know it is important, and works. I am going to be painting the exterior of my house. The house faces almost west, a little north. Front door is in center, split level house, so door is in middle of the house in height as well as width. It is now very light gray (almost white) with dark blue shutters and white trim. What is the best color for my house?

Dear Jan,
1. Generally, if one is undecided which is color to choose, use a neutral color like white colour.
This serves another `purpose' ie to make the exterior `Yang' as opposed to `yin' dark.
2. Other `light' colors are generally acceptable.
3. More importantly, the roof tiles should not be in blue color as this represent water and may suggest `difficulty' for the household.
