Recently I received a pair of wooden hands as gift. Needed to know what is the best place to keep them and also needed to know if there is any significance attached to them. Thanks.

Dear Anon,
If the pair of hands are stretched out in a `receiving' position, it would not be `auspcicious' unless the hands hold something.
A pair of `empty' hands symbolises e.g. begging, and if they are really in this `position' then, best not to display it at all.
Thus as you have not exactly described what posture it is, the above are my immediate comments.
