Ying Yang calligraphy

Dear cecil,
I read somewhere that the Yin yang calligraphy should be displayed only in the center of the home and the next best place is the SW. Is there any truth in this. Thanks.

Dear Anon,
1. In fact, all scenery paintings have a touch of Yin and Yang.
2. In my opinion, I have not heard that it should only be displayed at the center or at the South West particulary the center.
Thus, I personally believe that there is no `fixed' locations other than commonsense would say it it should not be placed in the toilet or kitchen.
If one has a large painting, it would be best to hang it on a larger wall where it does not cover the entire wall, but sits there nicely.
