at the moment, told me that he bought me a bronze Dragon, because I was born
in the year of the Dragon (23rd July 1952 - 11.30pm). Where would be the
most auspicious place in my house to place it, when he brings it home. I
have a west facing front door by the way,

Since it is a decorative piece, it can be placed in the living room. A
belief is that it can face outwards e.g. looking out of the living room.
