In the I.T. industry, experts anticipate chaos as the year cross over to 2000, specifically on 31st December 1999. From the Geomancy point of view, is this day a chaotic / disaster day?
I remember reading an article on Titanic. The Feng Shui si-fu computed the date on which Titanic sank and the birthdates of the key people on the ship. Interesting.
Has anyone seen a similar article on Y2K issue?

Dear Rose,
I believe, what you mentioned relate rather to the I-Ching (derived from the
Book of Changes). A powerful Chinese Divinity method.
1. If you take the 64 hexagrams of the I-Ching and read it from bottom up
from 0 to 63, it forms the binary code where our current computers were
invented.
2. A few Nobel prize winners said they consulted the I-Ching and attributed
it to their success!
3. I forgot who but someone discovered our genetic chain and attribute it
to the I-Ching.
4. There are well known reports of people using the I-Ching to forecast the
stock market using the I-Ching.
5. Recently, last year, I saw a TV program. Someone used the I-Ching and
`plotted' our world situation and each time there is a dip in the I-Ching,
there was a major war etc.... I was `worried' when this person I cannot
remember the program or the person said that sometime in 2xxx (not sure
which date ... forgot already) there is a sudden large dip which signifies
quite a major `disaster' ... I really hope I could remember the date but I
think it is a few years from now...*Gulp*
Therefore, I can only assume that what you mention relate to the I-Ching
(Chinese divinity method). To clarify, Feng Shui is a different
`discipline'.

Dear Rose
I read with interest the article on Titanic which you mentioned. Can you
kindly tell me where I can find this article? I'd like to read it too. I do
remember having attended a talk by Geomancer Raymond Lo sometime ago and he
'talked briefly' on the subject of the 'Silkair Crash in Palembang'. He said
he'd write on this subject one day in one of his books or newspaper
columns.
Isn't it amazing how events of the world and/or of people can be
'traced/calculated' one way or another?
Thanks in advance. (If I chance upon an article on Y2K, esp. from chinese
prints, you'll be the first to know)
Rgds
Eve.

Hi Eve
The article on the Titanic by Raymond Lo is at www.worldoffengshui.com. This is Lillian Too's web site. Very interesting article.
It's easy AFTER the event, what about something BEFORE an event.
What a skeptic eh ?
An uncle of mine was booked on that Silkair flight but car broke down enroute to the airport so had to catch a later flight. Maybe I should look at his chart. I guess his elements were well balanced that day and that luck was on his side.
Cheers
Glyn
