I am looking to purchase a flat that is directly above a garage. What are the rules governing living and or sleeping space above a garage and are there any cures? Would you advise to leave well alone?

Dear Robin,
Frankly, the best advise is not to purchase a flat directly above a garage
as this is inauspicious and there are no known *effective* cures i.e. in my
opinion, as of now, I cannot recommend any cures for this.
