Posted January 27, 200124 yr I am new to this forum and am happy I found it. Please pardon my errors as I am not familiar with this type of format...I have a problem in one of my bedroom corners which has not been resolved for many years. During a renovation, the contractor decided to disguise plumbing (coming from an upstairs floor) behind an interior casing. The problem is that this ceiling to floor encasement juts out as a 12" x 7" box from the far left corner of my bedroom. The resulting *edge points directly at my bed. I have since experienced many lower back aches. The basic floor plan looks like this:------- window --- window ----|| box ||-----*||||entranceto lavatory|||------------------------entrance|What can I do to remedy this once and for all? I have read and searched for years and cannot afford a professional consultation...Many Thanks,Jolene
Posted February 4, 200124 yr Staff Dear Jolene,Frankly, it is difficult or impractical to hide this corner. An alternative is to use a poster bed with screens or curtains ... but again, this may not be a practical solution.A metal wind chime can be used in such a situation to neutralise the corner.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 1/27/01 2:14:00 AM, Anonymous wrote:I am new to this forum and amhappy I found it.
